SBVUMCET Counselling 2023: Check the Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University Medical Common Entrance Test is organized by the Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University. About SBVUMCET Counselling 2024 – Overview

SBV Invocation is a pioneering effort to spread the word that institutes of higher education should depict secularism in letter, spirit and definitive action by starting every day afresh with SBV invocation, sans religious content. The rendition of the secular chant on “Education” is set to the melody or rAg Kedar, a musical mode in the Hindustani idiom of Indian music whose equivalent in the Carnatic style of Music is hameerkalyAni. The composition is tuned to music by Prof. Sumathy Sundar, Director, Center for Music Therapy Education and Research, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth and at the behest of the former Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.R. Sethuraman.

The SBV invocation also carries in itself the meaning of the Sanskrit rendition, in English. The lyrics in musical Sanskrit capture the basic tenets and values of higher education in a capsule form. This model could be embraced by all the other institutes of higher education, as it is a secular invocation using Indian traditional chants on “Education” but in an eclectic manner. The vocalists featured in this musical recording are Dr. Sumathy Sundar, Ms.Bhuvaneswari Ramesh, Ms. Kala Varadan, Ms. Karthika Vaidyanathan, Ms. Prashanthi Rajan, Mr.Vishwesh Swaminathan, and Mr.PL Harikrishnan. Mr. S. Rajaram on the Flute and Ms.Surya Kamalakannan on the keyboard have embellished the efforts of the vocalists.

SBVUMCET Counselling Dates 2024

SBVUMCET (Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University Medical Common Entrance Test) is a medical entrance exam conducted by Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University for admission to various undergraduate medical programs. SBVUMCET Counselling Eligibility 2024

SBVUMCET Counselling, Seat Allotment & Results 2023

The seat allotment process for SBVUMCET Counselling is conducted in multiple rounds. The following are the steps involved in the seat allotment process:

The candidates should bring the documents such as Original Counseling letter along with the photocopy of Counseling letter, Original Admit card along with a photocopy of admit card, Bank draft has to be made as per the guidelines mentioned on SBVUMCET prospect, All the original and at least 2 photocopies of certificates of 10th & 12th class,  

Rank Card / Admit Card, Scorecard (if applicable), Original degree/provisional certificate if candidate is appearing, Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Other) signed by the authorized authority, Medical documents mentioned on SBVUMCET application form, 4-6 Passport size photographs color and black and white and Other supportive documents mentioned on SBVUMCET application form. The candidate should select the appropriate center.

SBVUMCET Counselling Fee 2024

The SBVUMCET Counselling Fee varies depending on the category of the candidate. The following is the counselling fee structure for SBVUMCET:

1. For General/OBC candidates: Rs. 2,000/-
2. For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 1,000/-

The counselling fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Candidates need to pay the counselling fee at the time of registration for the counselling process. The payment can be made online using a debit/credit card or net banking. It is important to note that candidates who do not pay the counselling fee within the specified time will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
